"D" NEWS SPECIAL REPORT: FATAL GUN SHOOTING OF 2 YEAR OLD

"D" NEWS SPECIAL REPORT: IT SADDENS ME TO HAVE TO REPORT ANOTHER TRAGEDY OF A CHILD. THE UNNECESSARY FATAL DEATH OF 2 YEAR OLD GIRL IDENTIFIED AS CAROLINE STARKS..

When will parents learn that it is NOT okay for children to play with guns!!! It is negligence and ignorance that kills and now a baby has lost her life because of such poor judgment. Gun control is a serious issue in this country no matter how you look at it...

Fact remains those let their children play with such powerful weapons of DEATH should at all times take every precaution to supervise and at NO TIME leave said CHILD alone with a loaded weapon or leave a loaded weapon in or within a child's reach.

Here's "D"s thought on guns for children....

Why at such a young age would we want to put violence into their tiny little hands when we should be teaching them about love and compassion, because in a World of violence and killing that they are now already growing up in, which is depressing enough by just turning on your television...and day by day the violence is escalating at levels such as terrorism and families lives are being destroyed and changed forever!!! Why would we want to contribute to that....We can be part of the solution or part of the problem....it's a choice....

Our children are NOW being taught about killing from the violent game machines and this is starting at a younger and younger age and this is a craze that is out of control and just as deadly and violent as the guns parents put in their children's hands, except now they are REAL.....and when they shoot "YOU" don't get a second life your dead!!!!!

Children at such a young age have no comprehension as to life or death and they have no concept that pulling a trigger means killing and you are dead, to them it's a game....Parents are responsible for teaching, educating, and safety and it appalls me to say Parents today are doing a lousy job.....

There will be plenty of time when they've reached maturity and will be ready to deal with a gun if "THEY" choose. I can go on and on because this death has definitely hit a nerve with D, imagine the trauma that this little boy will now have to deal with in the weeks and years ahead, knowing that he killed his little sister!!!

Parents please consider the rights of your children, Children are our future tomorrow and Children have rights too!!!!

My condolences to the family and especially to the little boy!!
